A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who will travel to you and notarize your documents. When people think of a notary they think of going to a bank, UPS store, or a government service center to get their documents notarized. These are great options but sometimes it makes more sense to find a notary near me and have them travel to my house.
Coverage Area
Each mobile notary will have an area they cover and will charge a fee for traveling to you. There will also be a fee for the notarizations. My normal service area is a 35 mile radius from my office in Lakeville, MN. This means I travel to Lakeville, Farmington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan, Rosemount, Bloomington, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Prior Lake, Savage, and more. If you are located outside this area I will work with you.
A Professional Mobile Notary Public
I carry everything with that’s needed to notarize your documents. A full-time professional mobile notary public is prepared for your appointment. I always make sure to have hard writing surfaces with me such as a clipboard. When requested I even bring a portable table. I have a mobile office including a printer and scanner in my car just in case we need to print or scan papers. I am knowledgable about the laws pertaining to notarizations in Minnesota and requirements for identifying each signer or witness.
As a professional mobile notary public I am up front about fees and make it easy for you to pay for my services. I will give you the best estimate I can based on the information you provide prior to your appointment. You can pay by credit card and I also accept cash. I do not accept personal checks.
