Back in May 2020 we were all still pretty new to navigating the covid-19 pandemic. Something many of us probably remember is those first few days and weeks after the pandemic grew to public awareness and the whole country ground to a halt. The travel industry dried up seemingly overnight. And record numbers of people filed for unemployment. It was a wild time.
For most people who invest their money in stocks or mutual funds it was a tense time but to be honest we probably didn’t do anything about it. It seemed like things happened so fast that we didn’t have time to react. It was just a time like this that triggered potential financial disaster for one of my clients.
